Remember and Honor
Franklin D. Roosevelt once said, "Those who have long enjoyed such privileges as we enjoy forget in time that men have died to win them." As time marches on, this poignant saying from Roosevelt remains ever so true. For some reason, it is so incredibly easy to forget that our privileges, especially that of freedom, are not truly free. Countless men and women have gone to great lengths, sacrificing their very lives, for the sake of securing these rights and freedoms for many others. Their bravery and dedication should always be remembered and honored, as they played a critical role in shaping the world we live in today.
Fagen Fighters WWII Museum will be open to the public on Monday, May 26th, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. We invite you to come and step back in time, allowing yourself to be surrounded by powerful military artifacts that tell the stories of bravery and sacrifice. Tour the museum at your own pace and take a moment to reflect on Memorial Day and its true meaning, honoring those who served our nation. Weather permitting, our pilots will conduct flyovers during local cemetery programs. May we strive to be a people and a generation that never forgets, even as time passes, the profound cost of freedom that many have paid.
